New Development Review Project Notices

68 Commercial Street - New Development Review Project

To residents and property owners: The property owner, Steven Goodrich, has submitted a Level 2 site plans application for a change of use from a museum to offices at Maine Wharf. The total square footage of the change of use is 10,838 SF. The new offices are intended to be utilized for marine uses. The property is in the Waterfront Central Zone.  The application is subject to Portland's site plan standards. In accordance with the Portland Land Use Ordinance, notices of receipt of a Level II Site Plan application must be sent to property owners located within 500 ft. of the subject property (or 1,000 ft. if the project is a subdivision or map amendment for a site located  within an Industrial Zone). This application will be reviewed administratively by City Staff. This is the only notice you will receive.  A project and plan summary is available for viewing on the Citizen Self Service Portal (https://egweb.portlandmaine.gov/energovprod/selfservice), by referencing Plan Number PL-000731-2019. Written comments should be submitted to planningboard@portlandmaine.gov.
