In-person absentee voting at City Hall will begin on Tuesday, May 22 after the City Council takes the final vote of the School Budget Orders on Monday, May 21. Mailed absentee ballots were sent out to those who requested them this week, however ballots will not be accepted by the Clerk’s Office until after the Council vote. Voters may begin returning their ballots on May 22.

Beginning on May 22, voting is available during the City Clerk’s office hours -- Monday through Friday from 9:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. This is for any resident wishing to register to vote or vote by absentee ballot.

Due to State Law Title 21-A 753-B (2)(D) there is no absentee voting three days before any election. On Thursday, June 7, 2018, the City Clerk’s office will extend its hours until 7:00 P.M. This will be the last day for absentee voting in the Clerk’s office and the last day to request an absentee ballot.

On Tuesday, June 12, polls open at 7:00 A.M. and close at 8:00 P.M. Based on your residency, you must vote at your polling place.
