[ARCHIVED] Barron Center Achieves National Recognition as Top Performing Skilled-Nursing Facility

news alert

The City of Portland’s Barron Center was recently identified as a top performing skilled nursing facility by the American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHCA). Each year, The ACHCA recognizes top performers with the Eli Pick Facility Leadership Award, which is a significant achievement as only 11% of facilities nationwide qualify. Quality indicators, occupancy, and three years of survey data are used to identify facilities for the award.

“The Barron Center prides itself on providing care that meets the individualized needs of all those we serve,” said Ryan Francis, the Barron Center’s Administrator. “In all areas of care, our team strives not only to meet quality standards but exceed them as well. This award showcases the efforts of our team and has set a new standard for us to continue, and, ultimately exceed.”

The Barron Center has provided skilled nursing and rehabilitation services to individuals in need for more than 200 years in our community. Ryan Francis was recently named the new Administrator.
