The Waterfront Economic Development Advisory Committee's purpose is to advise the City and its lending partner on the purposes and uses of the waterfront loan fund and to advise the City administration and Council concerning infrastructure investments to be financed in whole or in part by the Waterfront Investment Fund, funded by the waterfront tax increment financing district in the Waterfront Redevelopment Economic Zone (WREZ). The Committee’s focus is to assist the marine-related, water dependent uses which are the core activities of the working waterfront.
