The Aquatic Section of  Recreation operates three aquatic facilities.  The “Hap” Frank Pool is located in the Reiche School and Community Center.  The Harold Paulson Pool is located at the Riverton School and Community Center.  The Kiwanis Pool, located on Douglass Street, is our only outdoor facility; it is open for 10 weeks each summer.  For lap and open swims please see our pool schedules.

The Aquatic Section offers comprehensive instruction for all ages.  We follow the American Red Cross (ARC) swim instruction program for our preschool and youth lessons.  Additionally, we have many programs for adults that are non-swimmers to those that may wish to train for long distance swimming; including triathlons and open water swims.  Our adult aerobics class is a great opportunity to exercise without excessive impact to joints and muscles.  Senior exercise is less intense and may appeal to those people just beginning an exercise regime.
