2008 Bulky Waste Curbside Collection Program
Please note that the program will be run a little different than in previous years. Please review the following information:

How many items can I place at curbside? (Please note...all like items must be separated)
Single Family Homes Up to six (6) items from the list below.
Eligible Multi-Unit Buildings Up to two (2) items per unit for a maximum of twenty (20) items per building.

What type of items will be accepted for curbside collection?

REMINDER: If an item can be recycled or fits in a blue bag, it is not considered a bulky item eligible for curbside collection. Inappropriate items will be tagged and left behind for proper disposal.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

How do I know if my apartment building is eligible for this program?
Call our Bulky Waste Program Hotline at 756-8189 between the hours of 8:00 am - 4:30 p.m.,
Monday - Friday. Any messages left on this hotline will be returned promptly the next business day.

What do I do with items that aren’t accepted at the curb?

Any non-hazardous items that will fit in a trash bag should be placed in a City trash bag and set out for regular trash pick up. Books, magazines and other paper items should be set out for recycling. Hazardous items such as oil based paints, pesticides, old gasoline, etc. should be brought to Riverside Recycling beginning on Saturday, July 5 when the Household Hazardous Waste Program resumes. Propane tanks, appliances, computer equipment and TVs can be brought to Riverside Recycling during regular business hours.
