E-card Changes at Riverside Recycling Facility (6/16/2009)
Beginning July 1, 2009, there will be changes to the City e-card program at Riverside Recycling Facility. These include:
* E-card holders will have free disposal of up to 10 bulky items per year such as furniture, non-freon appliances, mattresses and box springs, gas grills and outdoor equipment as well as limited quantites of yard waste and hazardous waste

Portland Public Services is located at 55 Portland Street next to the Back Bay
Grill Restaurant.
From 295 traveling south, take exit 6B heading in town on Forest Avenue.
From Forest Avenue as you head toward the downtown area, take a left at the
intersection by the Federal Post Office Building (this is Portland Street).
Deering Oaks park will be on your right.
Travel approximately 2/10 of a mile on Portland Street. Public Services is a brick
building on the left.
