This Committee will develop policy recommendations that will improve and enhance the quality of life, health and safety of all Portland residents and visitors. In that capacity the committee shall review the operations of the Police and Fire Departments, interact with community based organizations that provide services and support to various groups in the city to ensure a coordinated effort between the parties, and provide opportunities for neighborhood organizations to express their concerns and issues.
