A full complement of commercial loan programs are available to Portland businesses through the Downtown Portland Corporation (DPC), an arm of the Economic Development Division. The DPC provides a continuum of gap-based financial assistance to businesses throughout the City, from the smallest establishment to the largest corporation.
In addition to our loan programs, the City provides development incentives for public infrastructure improvements. Under special circumstances, there are also opportunities for tax increment financing.
