They are Solar Powered , PCI compliant and dispenses receipts. After parking their car, motorists will walk to the pay station and pay for the desired amount of parking (A one hour minimum applies for credit cards) then push the green button to print a receipt. The receipt should then be displayed face up inside the vehicle on the dashboard. The receipt will identify the date, amount of parking time purchased and when the parking time expires. Parking receipts purchased at the new parking stations can be used at all metered spots in the city.

What If I Paid For More Time Then I Need?
Parking Meter / Pay Station receipts can be used at ANY City metered space. If you paid for 2 hours but only used 30 minutes, you can drive to any other meter in the City and park while the receipt is still valid. The time limit restrictions still apply, so don’t stay in any space longer than the posted time.
What if a meter doesn’t work?
You can purchase time from another working unit nearby. If there is a problem with the meter, it communicates electronically with the city personal. A malfunctioning coin or card slot will display across the screen telling you to use appropriate payment slot.
