Full-time, part-time, and on-call positions available - schedule to include weekends and nights. Responsibilities include mowing, trimming, lining fields and general ballfield maintenance as well as opening/closing facilities, turning on/off light systems, and setting up fields for events. Community Health Promotion - HIV Prevention

full-time, grant-funded position. Seeking qualified individual to carry out oversight and expansion of a clean needle exchange program in order to reduce incidence of HIV and hepatitis C infection. Position will entail working within a multi-disciplinary team to provide community outreach, individual case management, and health education. Experience with STDs, HIV and viral hepatitis as well as a good working knowledge of issues related to mental illness and chemical dependency desired. Experience in community health organizing, advocacy, and work with targeted groups including intravenous drug users and correctional facility inmates is also highly desirable. Must have excellent communication skills, ability to implement and evaluate program objectives, and work independently in the field. BA degree in public health, social service, health education or related field. Must possess Maine Class C driver’s license and have personal vehicle available for work use.
