bike rack request

Do you know of a public place (school, park, public building, or sidewalk) in Portland that could really use a bike rack? If you answered yes, please fill out the form below and the Bike Rack Placement Team will consider your request when bike racks are installed in 2009.

Process: Requests for bike rack placements will be accepted until February 28th, 2009. The Bike Rack Placement Team (a review team comprised of City staff and community members) will review and prioritize the requests. The City has limited funding and will fill requests in the prioritized order until the funding is spent. City staff will begin installation of the bike racks in the Spring.

In most instances, the City will purchase bike hitches that accommodate 2 bikes each.
