The Creative Portland Corporation (CPC), established November 2008, is a non-profit organization created to receive donations, grants and contributions in support of the City of Portland’s economic development efforts which enhance and create creative economy business and arts district development and employment opportunities.
The Board of Directors shall consist of up to twenty-one (21) individuals - eight (8) of whom shall be Directors appointed by the Corporator through the Portland City Council, two (2) of whom shall be ex officio members (the Mayor or City Council member, and the City Manager or designee associated with the Economic Development Department), and eleven of whom will be elected by the Board of Directors. All Directors, with the exception of the ex officio members, must be either residents of, own a business located in, or work in the City of Portland.".

Meetings are held on the first Wednesday of every other month at Portland City Hall from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m.
