To Residents and Property Owners: The Planning Board will hold a REMOTE workshop on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 to consider the following items by Portland Foreside Development Company: 

1.    A master development plan amendment application to allow for interim building and site modifications in connection with the Fore Points Marina to allow the temporary (three-year) siting of improvements that fall outside of the scope of the approved 2018 Level II site plan and 2016 Master Development Plan.  The subject property is a 10-acre parcel zoned B-6 and EWPZ, a portion of which lies within the Shoreland Zone.  This item is scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m. and is 1st on the agenda

2.    A zoning text amendment application to facilitate changes to the Land Use Code to allow the siting of restaurants and food service establishments associated with marina facilities in the EWPZ zone.  This item is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. and is 2nd on the agenda

The workshop is an opportunity for the applicant to present a plan to the Planning Board in an informal session which is open to the public. Public Comments will be taken at this meeting. Written comments should be submitted to planningboard@portlandmaine.gov. Please refer to the document, Guide to Public Participation in the Planning Board Process, for revised procedures for public comment which can be found at http://www.portlandmaine.gov/551/Development-Review.  Due to the existence of an emergency or urgent issue, the Portland Planning Board will conduct this meeting by remote methods/technology at the Zoom link provided on the agenda in accordance with the requirements of 1 M.R.S. section 403-B and the City Council's Remote Participation Policy.  Please note that the placement of this item on the agenda is subject to change – please check the Agenda & Minutes Center prior to the meeting for the item start time. To Residents and Property Owners:  The Planning Board will hold a REMOTE workshop to consider an after the fact conditional use permit application to facilitate the operation of a place of assembly use within a 900 square foot portion of an existing single-family home at 11 Pomeroy Street.  The subject property is 73,281 square feet in size and is located in the R-3 Residential zone. A related minor site plan application, PL-000058-2018, has also been submitted and is under staff review.  The workshop is an opportunity for the applicant to present a plan to the Planning Board in an informal session which is open to the public.  Public Comments will be taken at this meeting and written comments should be submitted to planningboard@portlandmaine.gov. Please refer to the document, Guide to Public Participation in the Planning Board Process, for revised procedures for public comment which can be found at http://www.portlandmaine.gov/551/Development-Review
