July 9 Community Forum to Discuss Sign Regulations

NEWS ALERT

The Department of Planning and Urban Development will kick-off the process for updating its sign regulations with a Community Forum on July 9th from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM in Rm 24 at City Hall. As part of the larger project of rewriting the City of Portland Land Use Code (www.recodeportland.me), this is an opportunity to ensure that new sign standards reflect the needs of different property types, businesses, and neighborhoods. 


The end result will be modern sign regulations that are illustrated and clear, supportive of the needs of local businesses, and visually compatible with surrounding neighborhoods.
