Traffic Advisory: Utility Work Begins March 17 on Baxter Boulevard

On Friday, March 17th, the City’s contractor, D&C Construction, will begin the installation of a new storm drain into Back Cove, adjacent to the intersection of Baxter Boulevard and Vannah Avenue. The work within Baxter Boulevard will continue through the end of next week.

Traffic flow patterns will be adjusted daily as work progresses across the Boulevard. Traffic lanes will be shifted and restricted in width. Flaggers and representatives from the Portland Police Department will be onsite to assist with traffic flow.

The work and traffic pattern variations will run from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.  Drivers are encouraged to utilize alternative routes during this period.
