The February 15 meeting has been postponed due to weather and rescheduled for February 28, 2017.

The February meeting will include a public hearing on the proposal to change the name of Franklin Street to Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. 

  • The committee usually meets on the third Wednesday of each month.  Please be sure to check the calendar in case of an exception.

About the Committee


The committee will establish policies - with an emphasis on sustainability principles and energy conservation - regarding the design, construction, maintenance, and use (both by city agencies and noncity parties) of all public facilities and infrastructure owned and/or controlled by the city.  This committee shall also develop and recommend to the City Council policies that will address all transportation-related issues including vehicular, mass transit, bicycle, and pedestrian issues. This also includes parking and traffic control.
