COVID-19 Updates



Auto Registrations
All auto registrations, including temporary and expired, were extended by the State of Maine due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, that extension will officially end on August 11, 2020 at which time any expired registrations will become delinquent.

Auto renewals can be processed online

For new auto registrations, the Treasury Office opened on June 8, 2020 by appointment only. To make an appointment, click here.  **Due to high demand, appointments are booking into September at this time. Please check back often as we continue to try to release more available times. 

Boats
Renewals can be done online using Rapid Renewal System

Property Tax Payments
Property tax payments were due June 1, 2020 and should continue to be made online or via mail.

Real Estate Taxes Due Dates 

  • 1st Half - October 18, 2019
  • 2nd Half - June 1, 2020

Note:

Interest will be charged on the first installment at an annual rate of 9% starting on October 19, 2019.  Interest will be charged on the second installment at an annual rate of 9% starting June 2, 2020.
